Coil Processing Equipment
- Two 48 inch (1,176 mm) Braner slitters featuring shimless tooling, computerized set-up and 35 foot (7.6m) deep looping pits enabling us to produce tightly wound coils with minimum burr and camber while still holding a slit width tolerance of plus/minus .005 inch (.013mm) or less.
- One high speed Littell sheeting line is equipped with ultraviolet sensors to detect and reject pinholes, and an automatic gauging device to detect and reject unacceptable thickness in sheeted product. These lines cut straight and scroll sheets with length tolerances of ± 0.007 inches (± 0.18 mm). Our Littell sheeting lines also have in-line edge trimming capability featuring width tolerance of ± 0.007 inches (±0.18 mm).
- One 24 inch (620 mm) Morvay slitter can produce coils as narrow as 0.25 inch (6.35 mm) wide.
- One Iowa Precision Industries blanking line, maximum coil weight 23,000 lbs (10,400 kg), maximum inbound coil width 50 inches (1,270 mm), thickness range 0.010-0.040 inches (0.25-1.00 mm). Maximum outbound cut sheet length 120 inches (3,048 mm).
